How to create a Website

Your website and your DMS are created together. One is where customers find your stock, the other is where you run the business.

1. Sign in and go to My Account > Websites.

2. Select Create Website.

3. Give the website a name and choose a plan. If you have a discount code, add it here.

4. Add a payment method if you have not already. A card is held on file for every website, including one on the Free plan, though nothing is charged for a free site.

5. Confirm, and leave it to build. It takes up to about five minutes, and you get an email when your website and DMS are ready.

Two things worth knowing before you start:

• An account gets one Free website. To add another site, choose a paid plan for it.

• The plan decides which parts of the DMS you can use. Taking online payments, stock feeds and the AI features are on the paid plans.

Go to My Account > Websites, find the website in the list, select Actions beside it and choose Go to DMS.

The DMS opens with a quickstart that sets your website up: your logo and colours, your opening hours, your home page wording, and your first vehicles. Work through it before you start advertising - it is the fastest way to a site that looks like your dealership rather than a template.
